I know it’s an old thread, but the L5P in the 2020 is the noisiest, most unpleasant Duramax to date. The thumping, ticking, screeching, and what I’m assuming is injector knock, is almost Unbearable. And I've seen one truck with 52 miles on it with 2 bad injectors, multiple issues with regen not working from sucked in air filter to a plugged def injector.
