New LC9s slide is stuck open. I have somehow managed to get the slide stuck open on my LC9s while cleaning it after shooting today. Upon cleaning and reassembly, I pushed the slide back in order to install the retaining pin. I think I pushed it too far back and now the whole slide is stuck open. (not all the way open, but most of the way).That inclued pullig the slide back and engaging the hold. After I was done looking around inside, I pulled the slide back to release the hold and it did not retract. Just now as I sit down to write this, I popped the magazine out, tried it, and the slide retracted back home. What's the theory behind this? Thanks! P.S. I was originally writing to see …
