When I enrolled, the service included the device to make a HomeLink opener compatible with MyQ for $1. My opener had MyQ built in but I still paid the extra $1 to get the device to use as a gift. Many Tesla Model Y owners have prior experience with Homelink and will pay the asking price for Homelink (currently $350, installed.). You can now subscribe to the MyQ-Tesla integration (less expensive than Homelink when you pay the 5 year subscription fee.)
