I made every payment on time and was never late. On November 1, 2022, Shellpoint Mortgage assumed my loan from Caliber. I was never notified by Caliber nor Shellpoint Mortgage of the change, so I continued making my monthly payments ($1,526.95) to Caliber, all of which were on time. Newrez acquired my loan from Loancare in Sept 2023. My last payment to Loancare for Oct 2023 was in process, Newrez received that payment and credited the payment. In January I got notice that my credit score was degraded from 825 to 815 and is now 808 because both Loancare and Newrez were reporting my mortgage balance. Newrez mortgage in my opinion is a terrible mortgage company with the highest level of POOR Customer Service. If Negative -5 STARS is an available rating option, I'd give them -5 STARS.
