We ended up with a well done medium crop instead. But they do fit his head very well. I also like the amount of bell he was left with. Please realize that the ears on a puppy look WAAAAAY larger than they will look on him as an adult, in the same way that huge feet on a puppy end up perfectly sized when the pup is full grown. Some people get short crops that look absolutely horrible when the Doberman is an adult.If you can, I would carefully remove the tape that covers the edge on the left ear and put fresh tape down running along the edge (like the right ear).
