My computer can run BG3 with certain settings turned down (low shadows, no god rays, no ambient occlusion, etc), but it stills eats up almost all of my memory to run the thing. The game will slow down, I'll have frequent frame drops, and when I load into an area, it takes ages for all the objects/terrain to render in. I had BG3 installed on a SSD but I had major problems with textures not loading and stuff popping in during cutscenes and exploration. It is probably a stupid oversight on my part, but I assumed my SSD was good and it wouldn't be causing an issue like this.
